Today, we’re thrilled to be launching our new platform, the foundation for our future. As a result of two years of consultation with you, our members, and internal market research, we’re now able to provide an even more robust product. Today’s release is just the beginning; we look forward to sharing new updates with you soon.
Changing to Meet Industry Needs
Agency Access has always been known for its robust and up-to-date database of creative contacts. And over the years, we’ve continued to develop marketing services to support the use of our database. But as with all things, needs change and we need to change to keep up.
The most significant changes came from what our members need. You’re looking for month-to-month subscription options, rather than long-term annual commitments. You’re empowered to design and manage your own email marketing campaigns, rather than have us do it for you. You want more control over the Directory with an overwhelming desire for more CRM tools.
The concept of “business hours” has also changed drastically. Owning your own business isn’t about a 9-5 anymore, especially with the considerable rise in working from home while balancing your daily life. We know our members are managing their business and planning their marketing at whatever time works for you. It’s evident to us that you want more control over how and when you use Agency Access services. Our hands-on, helpful approach will always be part of our DNA, but these changes are needed to give you what you need to grow your business successfully.
A New Foundation
The first and most crucial step was to rebuild the foundation our platform was built on. This allows us to use newer, faster tech to develop and release new features faster. This new foundation involves a lot of behind-the-scenes technology and includes significant enhancements to our Directory, Emailer, and List Builder. These core services have been completely reimagined to help you market more efficiently and to manage your business your way, on your time.
New Month-to-month Subscriptions
For many years, our business model has involved annual subscriptions. But now we recognize that many of you prefer a monthly subscription that you can cancel anytime. And today, that’s available to new or renewing members! Monthly subscriptions can be turned off or on, as your business marketing needs change.
For members that use our service every month, you can purchase an annual membership with auto-renewal and save 20% on the month-to-month cost. Existing members will have the option of choosing their new subscription upon renewal.
Emailer is Easier Than Ever
One of the most significant changes you’ll see is with our new Emailer. With a brand-new drag-and-drop modular system, you can build a beautiful responsive email quickly and easily. There are stunning new templates, an HTML uploader, and an easy plain-text option. It’s so easy. You can do it all yourself; you no longer need to spend extra money on coordination, coding, or design services.
We’ve also made changes to the way you buy email credits. Gone is the need to purchase bulk credits for the entire year. Our new email plans are membership-driven and month-to-month – and now cost less by 30-60%, on par with other leading email service providers. Upgrade or downgrade your plan based on what you need each month.
Introducing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Tools
Members, we heard you. You asked for the ability to leave notes or set alerts within the Directory. These two features have also launched today, the first step towards creating a simple CRM. Set reminders for a Zoom call, or a note with details on a creative you just met. It’s all available now. These features only scratch the surface of our plans for a simple CRM. We’ll be focusing a lot of attention on it in the coming months.
Now with More Contacts
PRINT & BROADCAST
Video has become more and more omnipresent in today’s creative, and many print and art producers now also handle video assignments. It’s more important than ever to be on their radar, which is why new memberships now come with contacts hiring for both print and video.
You no longer need a separate subscription to access the Broadcast database. All memberships now include print and broadcast. This change is immediate – all members now have access to these important contacts at no additional cost!
Also, Agency Access always had two specialty databases that we sold separately. Our Fine Art database lists art galleries and museums, art curators, gallery curators, museum curators, etc. The Architects database lists the top 1,000 firms in the US and their corporate marketing staff. These databases are now also available in all new subscriptions at no additional cost.
This new foundation sets us up to bring you new features quickly. We will continue to build and improve Agency Access so you can manage your business more powerfully and more independently.
